One Sentence Synopsis
An agent on the run, who is more than she seems, is being hunted down by an elite strike force.
Synopsis
A rogue agent is tracked to a forest planet by an elite strike force. Two military captains aboard the Bane discuss the importance of capturing the agent and her role in the things to come in the war against the dreaded Gradai, a sentient space- fairing people bent on galactic domination. What will she discover on her journey as she uncovers the truth about Human and Gradai expansion?
Treatment.
Universe.
Set in the far distant future, in a galaxy made up of many different alien species. Including the Torani, an amphibious race of regal diplomats and scientists, the Veet, a domestic species strong in figure and resilience, and Humans. The human race has united towards a common goal, the exploration of space. Renamed The Confederacy, they have expanded to several different solar systems. But a threat lies amongst the stars. An expantionist species known only as the Gradai have appeared in Confederacy space, their scout teams infiltrating and stealing Confederacy schematics and blue prints. War is inevitable.
The Confederacy
Made up of mostly Humans and Torani, the two species exist in peaceful harmony, Humans offering protection to the scientific and highly advanced Torani. After their home world was conquered by the oppressive Gradai, the peaceful Torani were forced to flee and seek shelter amongst the stars. Discovered by the Human Expansionists 300 years previously, treaties were made for technological trades in exchange for protection. Now upstanding members of the amended Confederacy, they hold major roles in medical research and science, as well as four seats of ten on the Council.
Over the years the Confederacy has seen many alien immigrants fleeing the destruction of their home worlds. Largest amongst them being the Veet, a technologically stale species. Though they may not be as highly intelligent as the other species in the Confederacy, they hold one seat on the Council for their contributions to the Industrial areas of all capital worlds in the fields of Labour. After many rallies against unfair conditions in Industrial space, it was deemed necessary to elect a member of the Veet to speak out as a representative for the commonly referred to ‘lower class citizens’.
The Gradai
A technologically advanced society of humanoid aliens. Though little is known about the Gradai, it will eventually be revealed that the Gradai have an accelerated birth rate, the females producing up to 10 children at a time, causing over-crowding and depleting resources. These factors contribute to their expansionist outlook, causing them to seek sustainable planets by force. An ever expanding species, they mature quickly, are naturally violent, but are weaker in frame and stature to the Human species.
Much later it will be discovered that a secret race of ephemeral beings known as the Fates, have been conducting experiments on the Gradai and Human species’, instigating the Gradais fertility rate and violent nature, and nurturing the Humans to combat them.
Plot
You see the Universe through the eyes of our heroine, a rogue agent on the run from the Confederacy. Caught up in events beyond her control, she was bred in a secret facility and raised amongst other selected children to rule the Galaxy. Rebelling against her fate, she sees the corruption of the Council first hand as she is deployed to wipe out a planet of rebel humans. Believed to be separatists planning a military coup, the Heroine is convinced that the human rebels are a threat to galactic stability and must be annihilated. She discovers the truth however when she and the team that she’s assigned to arrive at their drop zone. The heroine discovers a small child hiding in the forest separated from her family, confused at this discovery she must race to the facility and stop the strike team from destroying the peaceful village. After being forced to kill her entire unit, she goes rogue.
The animation takes off after she’s killed her team, and is on the run from a strike team sent to dispatch her.
Two captains, both villains (but minor ones), which will be designed to be like-able characters, will talk about why the heroine is on the run, what she did, and the location of the planet.
On the planet she lures the strike team into a trap, killing them, briefly talking into one of the agents intercoms (basic ‘is-that-the-best-you-can-do-speech’) and the animation ends with her jumping off a waterfall into a lagoon.
